From 2014 to 2017, with a scholarship from Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes), a Brazilian agency. I worked in the Laboratory of Organic Optoelectronic Devices (GOOD), under the supervision of Prof. Ivo A. Hümmelgem, from the Department of Physics of Universidade Federal do Parana.
Thesis: Development and characterization of GaxS10-x thin-film based solar cells
This research consisted on the design, development and characterization of thin-film solar cells, by employing a variety of organic and inorganic materials, and a wide range of characterization techniques, to understand the limiting factors and possibilities for improvements of the devices.
From 2012 to 2014, with a scholarship awarded from Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes). The academic research was developed under supervision of Prof. Holokx A. Albuquerque, from the Department of Physics of the Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina.
Dissertation: Bifurcation structures in 4-d dynamical systems
In this research, I employed numerical simulations of electronic and neuronal chaotic systems, by using computational tools written in Fortran and C++, and a theoretical analysis based on Chaos Theory fundamentals. The main results are related to mapping the abrupt transitions between the different behaviour of the systems (constant, periodic and chaotic).
Bachelor degree in Physics from the Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina. From 2003 to 2007.
